Some people have been upset that Obama's Approval rating is so high: 62% on Gallup's 3/2-4/09 tracking
But let's look at the change in BHO's Gallup 3 day tracking poll numbers for his first 40 days i.e. 1/21-3/4
The first Gallup 3-Day Tracking was for 1/21/09 -1/23/09.
BHO's Ratings were:
Approve: 68%
Disapprove: 12%
Undecided: 20%
(Of intial ratings of first term Presidents by Gallup this is quite a bit worse than JFK ( 72-6) but on par with Ike (68-7) and Carter (66-8) - although BHO's negatives are double theirs.)
The latest Gallup 3-Day Tracking Poll is for 3/2/09-3/4/09.
BHO's Ratings:
Approve: 62%
Disapprove: 28%
Undecided: 10%
So if you are the MSM you say "Obama Approval 62%!!!"
But let's compare the percent change in 40 DAYS:
from 1/21/09---> to 3/2/09
Approve: 68% ---> 62% Approval down 6 points which is about a 10% decrease in APPROVAL
Disapprove: 12% --> 28% This increase of 16 points is a 133% increase in DISAPPROVAL
Undecided: 20% ---> 10% 10 points loss in Undecided means a 50% reduction in Undecideds
Note that the 10% loss of approval and 50% loss of Undecided ALL HAVE MOVED TO DISAPPROVAL
Now, If you apply the tracking poll percentage point changes to 100 mil voters in the US, one could extrapolate:
6 million voters who approved of BHO on 1/21/09 NOW DISAPPROVE
10 million voters who had no opinion of BHO on 1/21/09 NOW DISAPPROVE
that is 16 Million NEW DISAPPROVING VOTERS in 40 days
BHO won the electionby 9.5 million votes 69..5 Mil to McCain 60 mil.
Recast those votes in terms of this tracking poll change:
BHO: 53.5 Mil, Palin and the RINO: 76 Million.
So don't take these high approval of BHO on face value.
never forget that there are 1040 Sundays in 20 years. And he never heard the good Reverend say anything bad about whitey... at least that is what the MSM told me.
